Subsequent events

In October 2010 the Company guaranteed a new bank bond facility of one of its subsidiaries. The maximum

potential contingent liability of the Company under such guarantees, including those in existence at 30 Septem-

ber 2010 (see note 9), was € 30,172,000. The actual amount drawn on these facilities and hence the actual con-

tingent liability of the Company at the end of October 2010 was € 16,473,000.

Subsidiaries

AEG Power Solutions B.V. (formerly 3W Power Holdings and Power Supply Systems Holdings (The Nether-

lands) B.V. respectively) has subsidiaries as detailed in note 2.
