4.9 Cook Assist

This function lets you set one of the

three frying levels which define

temperature of the cookware. The hob

keeps the specified temperature

automatically while frying. You can set

the function for the left front cooking

zone of the appliance.

To activate the function:

1. Put an empty pan on the left front

cooking zone.

2. Press

3. Use and to choose a frying

level. Confirm your selection with

4. Wait until the appliance detects the

cookware.

5. After some time you can choose with

and if you want to use

Plancha Grillplate function.

6. Confirm your selection with

.

7. Wait until cookware reaches the

temperature of selected frying level

(display shows the information).

8. Put the food on the pan.

To deactivate the function:

1. Touch 0 of the left front cooking

zone.

want to deactivate the function.

To adjust the temperature:

If the results do not meet your

expectations you can adjust the

temperature of frying. The hob

remembers your temperature adjustment

for the next time you use it.

To increase the temperature: touch

To decrease the temperature: touch

Plancha Grillplate function

This function lets you use the Cook Assist

function with Infinite Plancha accessory

from Electrolux or AEG. The function

connects two left cooking zones for Cook

Assist function and they operate as one.

It takes a little more time to

heat up a large cookware.

The function heats up the

Infinite Plancha for about 12

minutes and indicates when

it is ready.

4.10 Timer

There are 3 functions: Automatic

Counter, Power-off timer and Minute

Minder.

Automatic Counter

You can use this function to monitor how

long the cooking zone operates. The

function starts automatically and comes

on below heat setting in the cooking

zone on the display.

To reset the function: touch to get

the Automatic Counter . Then set the

cooking zone from the list with arrows

and touch

to confirm.

Power-off timer

You can use this function to set how long

the cooking zone should operate for a

single cooking session.
